The walk is quite long, about 10km, but quite easy, all on country roads and good tracks. It is mostly level, with a few rolling sections, and a total climb of about 50m. The terrain is varied, with open views across fields and the more distant plateau, and wooded and scrubby sections. There are no pine forests, so processionaires are not likely – there were none when I checked the walk today – so no problem for dogs.
As usual, we will meet in the car park by the cinema at 9:50, ready to set off at 10:00. The walk will start at 10:30 from the parking area in Les Rives, for those who prefer to drive there directly. We should be back in Lodeve by 14:00.
